I think it's fn-f8. If it's a Dell machine or something like it, on the
keyboard on the bottom left or right there should be a key that says "FN".
Hold this key down, then press the function key that has the screen icon on
it, I think it's F8. So hold down FN and press F8. Wait a few seconds for
the ressult. If it doesn't work the first time, do it again. This combo of
keys toggles through the various screen outputs. One is dual screen, one is
LCD, one is external monitor, one is Projector, etc. Keep pressing till you
get back to LCD.
If you don't have these keys, contact the manufacturer or something.

switched the display setting from screen #1` to screen #2 and it shut off
the lcd display on my laptop now I cant see to switch it back. my question
is how can reinstall the default screen one so the lcd works again?
