Hi,

Yesterday i deleted my be by mistake.I could retrive the data from backup
copy that i've saved before.
I deleted around 27000 records from the backup,so as to improve the
performance of the tool, when i linked the fronend to the backup, the database
is very much heavy and takes time to load, this never happened before,i tried
to change the container of the be,but i still no use.
Can anybody help?

Did you use Tools... Database Utilities... Compact and Repair on the backend
after deleting the data?

You may also want to open the master copy of the frontend; delete all the
table links; and use File... Get External Data... Link to reconnect to them
(rather than using the linked table manager).

Also check out Tony Toews' performance FAQ:
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/performancefaq.htm

I tries all that you mention below but no use...
Can you help more?

If you've tried the suggestions at the performance FAQ - including creating a
new database and importing everything - then I'm at a loss. Perhaps you should
repost, maybe someone else will see something. Indicate the version and
service pack level of Access, size of the database, etc.

Have you checked to see if the tables have an "appropriate" level of indexing
(too few indexes impair searching and sorting, too many impair updating,
getting the right level is a fine art)?
