My cursor keeps jumping backwards when I type. Ideas?

When I am typing text, the cursor keeps jumping backwards and then inserts
the text wherever the cursor ends up. This is driving me nuts! Anyone have
any ideas?
 
This has nothing to do with Outlook. You must have a laptop and with a
sensitive touchpad. When you brush up against it while typing, it will do
this. Either type more carefully or disable the touchpad and use a mouse.
