im trying to download a program onto my computer which is 1.19 gb of
information, but my connection isnt very fast even though im on dsl. so i
have to download over night in order to get the program, but evertime i start
the download after coming back the next morning i get an error message that
tells me that the file could not be dowloaded because my connection timed.
what do i do so that i can download the file without having it stop and
disconnect then having to start all over?

have you tried one of those freewares that are download managers. They can
complete partial downloads occurring after loosing a connection....

Hi,

you can try this....

Start >> Control Panel >> Network Connections >> double click on LAN
icon >> netx ot the name of NIC, there is a button "Configure", click
on it >> Advanced Tab >> under Property >> LinkSpeed/Full Duplex >>
choose value "100Mbps/Full Duplex" .... to increase the speed
