I typed out an explanation again to what I was trying to do when it hit me.

See Can a Confirmation Field Value be used is asp coding?

I was using the wrong databases to populate the confirmation page.

Thats why I always talk to myself when I'm doing something complicated...my brain says: you did what???....thats wrong dood! Do it again!
