My Computer View

When I open "My Computer" I have always gotten this view:
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/Tlim/OriginalMyComputer.jpg

But as of yesterday the view has changed to this:
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/Tlim/CurrentMyComputer.jpg

I have tried all of the relevant option in the "View" and "Tools/Folder"
menus, but am not able to restore my original view. Can you please tell me
how to get it back?

is your 'view' set to tiles or icons? I would think that one of these
would be what you want.

Thank you Wesley. You saved my sanity. The correct combination was "View":
Details, "Arrange Icons By": Type and "Show Groups": checked. All is now as
good as can be in this best of all possible worlds. (In my efforts, I missed
the fact that all three had to be in the right combination.)
