My computer open jpg files in a word format.

When I opened a jpg file at home, for some stupid reason, I opened
'properties' and selected 'open jpg files with Word'. Since then, whenever I
receive jpg files, it seems to open them in a word format and I cannot see
any photos at all.

Could anyone help me at all?
 
Change the file association using Windows Explorer > Tools > folder options
file types.
Click to expand...
or from Explorer again, right click > open with > choose program > flag the
checkbox to always open with that application.
