My Computer is Suddenly Noisy

This just recently started happening. My computer is about 1.5 years old. I
have not installed any new software or made any changes. I just re-booted it
and have no programs running. My startup is at a bare minimum. The fan runs
constantly like it does when a program is about to open. I keep my computer
updated: I check for viruses and spyware, clean my temporaries and junk
stuff.

I would appreciate any help. It drives me crazy and my neighbors don't like
my loud TV as I must turn it up to hear it over the noise from the computer!

Jana;
Power off, disconnect power and open the computer case.
There is probably a lot of dust inside.

Purchase a can of air designed to blow computers clean and blow all
the dust out.
Pay particular attention to the fans.
there are probably multiple fans.
The case will have at least one.
The video card may have a fan and the power supply has a fan.
Make sure all vents are clear of dust.

Verify all cables are clear of the fans.
