Help me!
1.) I have no administration tools.
2.) Files are not where they should be.
3.) %system% is missing files.
4.) I can't remove IE7 Beta 3 because it hangs at the registry.

I wan't to know how I can reformat the hard drive and reinstall WXP, then
Reinstall SP2 so I have a clean install with everything where it should be.

PS
MVP Help would be appreciated. I'm on SSI and can't afford a Tech.

- Boot the machine with your WinXP CD.
- Allow the disk to be formatted when prompted.
- Continue with the installation.

You will, of course, lose all data currently stored on the disk.

Is IE7 on your one and only computer or is it on a test machine?
Are you a tester of betaware, perhaps?
What degree of technical knowledge do you have regarding computers?
Will you download betaware onto your computer again.
I did once - never again

There is nothing wrong doing beta evaluations on your own
PC - simply use a spare disk instead of the real thing. Disks
are so cheap these days!

Thank you, I will give it a try.

This is true but my CD burner no longer burns data or music. I've tried
different disks and software. I need a new one so I will have to wait.
