My Computer ALWAYS uses Search mode not simple File/Folder tree

When I use "My Computer" to attempt to display disk folders and subfolders -
it now ONLY works through the SEARCH mode --- ie will not just simply display
the file/folder tree.

What is causing this - are there options that I can set/reset to get My
Computer back to normal mode ??

O/S is now SP2 - but occurred - suddenly - with SP1 and I cann't reverse
back to normal mode.

Have you clicked the Folder button? It's next to the Search magnifying
glass.

Try using Windows Explorer instead.

This will create a shortcut to C:
Right click the Desktop | New | Shortcut |
Type or copy and paste this in the box:

%windir%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

Next | Finish
