My Canon Multipass F30 won't work with XP

I installed XP (home version) and now my Canon Multipass
F30 won't work. I have tried everything I could think of
and had 2 other people come over and look at it. They
couln't fix it either. Any ideas.....PLEASE!

According to the Canon website it's fully compatible with XP provided you
install it correctly.
