My calendar won't let me save a new appointment anymore?

As of today I am unable to make a new appointment in my calendar - I get a
pop up box that says Microsoft Office Outlook cannot save item.
 
Post your question to a newsgroup for Outlook. This is for Access, a
relational database by MicroSoft.
