Hi,

My correspondents receive my mails but very often, they don't get the
attachments. I use Outlook 2002. Outlook Express works OK but as I have an
iPaq, I would like to remain with Outlook.

Thank for any ideas.

1. Make sure that your message format is set to plain text or html.

2. If the recipient name is coming out of your contacts folder, make
sure it isn't marked to receive outlook rich text only.
(open contact record and then double click on email address)

3. You may have to disable using Word as your e-mail editor

And do not multi-post!

In referenc to your second point, I normally set it as HTML or Plain Text,
but it seems to get back to RTF after I synchronize.

Sorry, couldn't resist, I'm looking badly for an answer.

Cheers

As in sync with the iPaq? And what gets switched back, the format choice at
tools > options > mail format or the mail address on the contact record?

Please don't multipost.

Yes, I synchronize with an iPaq.

After I sync., when I open contact record and then double click on email
address, the Internet Format seems (repeat, seems - I'm not sure) to be
switched back to RTF.

But on second thought, I'm wondering if it is not because I'm answering a
correspondent who has used a format other than text.

There are too many variables yet for me to be sure. Thank you to everyone
for their help, I'm heading the right way.

How do I disable Word as my mail editor?

Tools->options->mail format.
