After furious head scratching, JD asked:
| How do I disable Word as my mail editor?

|| As in sync with the iPaq? And what gets switched back, the format
|| choice at tools > options > mail format or the mail address on the
|| contact record?
||
|| ||| In referenc to your second point, I normally set it as HTML or Plain
||| Text, but it seems to get back to RTF after I synchronize.

|||| 1. Make sure that your message format is set to plain text or html.
||||
|||| 2. If the recipient name is coming out of your contacts folder,
|||| make sure it isn't marked to receive outlook rich text only.
|||| (open contact record and then double click on email address)
||||
|||| 3. You may have to disable using Word as your e-mail editor

|||| ||||| Hi,
|||||
||||| My correspondents receive my mails but very often, they don't get
||||| the attachments. I use Outlook 2002. Outlook Express works OK but
||||| as I have an
||||| iPaq, I would like to remain with Outlook.
|||||
||||| Thank for any ideas.
