My " and @ keys are different way round how can i change

i just got a new laptop and the key board on it has the " to be shifted from
2 but it actually comes up instead of the" sign and the same.
i think it might be because of when u turn on new computer i i chose the u.s
keyboard (recommended) but i am used to it the other way round

so does ne one know how to re acses that 1st time start up thing or
reconfigure keyboard keys??
 
Go to Start, Control Panel, Regional and Language Options. You'll find
what you're looking for there.

You and your keyboard need to be in the same country..... Seems like you
chose US when you really meant UK. Control Panel, Region & Language
Settings and ensure they're all set to the same option, wherever it is you
are living.
