My access file becomes read-only when I copy to a CD?

I want to backup my database onto a disk. This I can do but when I try to go
into to test I can use it it tells me its now become 'read-only'. Is there
something else I need to do. Please help me anyone!
 
After you copy the file off of the CD again, you need to change the Read
Only property
 
Do a search!!!! This is answered all the time. It was answered twice
yesterday!

Maybe it's my imagination, Lynn, but I think I've seen you describe living
in a lot of different places; moved around a bit have you? :)

No, it's not your imagination, Fred. I have lived in Texas (where I grew
up), Oklahoma, Colorado, Maryland, Budapest, and, now, Iowa. Most of that
movement was because I used to be a minister and served churches in those
places.
 
Ah, he would be all the way across the state -- opposite corner even -- from
me.
