My access database wont open properly

I believe your refering to this:

" If, for some reason, the Access window does not show itself, then
you can always close the mdb from the Task List, available in Win 95
with Control-Alt-Delete (once) and under NT, by right clicking on the
Taskbar and selecting Task Manager, by selecting the mdb and clicking
End Task. "

I read that, and tried to look for the mbd file, however, I couldnt
find any mdb file in the task manager, I only see MSACCESS.EXE and ive
ended the process but it did nothing. Im using Windows XP and Access
2000 so that may be different from what he is explaining above.

He solved the problem on the other thread.

Anyone else having a problem similar to this, the fix is holding shift
while opening the database.
