MVP Question

don't you understand?

The "parts" where you claim
a. "you post every day using your real name and address", and
b. " I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW MY REAL NAME"

I have no interest in your "real name", however, I now have no doubts that
your are a fraud as an MVP.

What's amazing is that not *one* single person has come forward to
substantiate your claim

It's also amazing that you refuse to provide the proof yourself.

No, it's only amazing if you actually were an MS-MVP.

Yes; you do that all the time.

It appears you have exposed yourself as a Usenet Troll, possibly even
PCBUTTS himself, as this is something he would do just to stir crap in
the group.

If you object to people not using real names, if you believe personal
information should be made public, then you should lead by example.

What is amazing is how some people think that they can lie and misrepresent
themselves and think that they will never be caught! What is even more
amazing is that when caught and exposed in spite of the overwhelming facts
and evidence against them there are some who will keep on denying the truth
and try to keep the lie alive, people like that have pathological disorders.
We see these kind of pathological diseases in the criminal mind but by no
means is it reserved to criminal behavior, people in all walks of life can
be afflicted with these diseases. You were offered an easy way to prove
your MVP claim and put an end to the accusations but you refuse to do it
because you are not an MVP and in your diseased mind you think that you are
fooling everyone so you just keep on lying. You need psychiatric help.

Hi Im sorry to take this tread off topic but

MVP Microsoft valued person lol an award given to people for there
previous 12 months effort in helping people with Microsoft Products

anyone can add MVP at the end of there name, and then claim to want to
remain anonymous, now while looking at if it was possible to lodge a
complaint about people that claim to be or who are, I find that
basically what was a good idea is totally undermined by people being
rude, and arrogant and then finding that there is no way to verify there
MVP award or complain about them

so to me MVP is basically rendered as useless and deserves no more
merit than anything else anyone posts on a forum claiming to be.

which I think is a real shame as I am sure that there are genuine
people out there who give there time for free to help promote and
support Microsoft products, and to help educate less experienced users,
while managing to maintain a high level of decorum and politeness.

I don't ask or expect MVPs to use their real names and reveal private
information in public newsgroups, it's an unreasonable demand that would
only be made by crack pots or by someone who is very new to Usenet!

I think that you can trust that most who use the MVP title in their posts
are in fact MVPs. Most people are honest by nature, there are some who lie
and try to deceive but most people aren't that low. If an MVP is challenged
about his or her status he can easily prove his status and put the challenge
to rest. You can be sure that those who will not put the challenge to rest
do not do so because they are not MVPs and they cannot make a proof to the
contrary. Certainly anyone who makes constant personal attacks against well
known competent individuals is not an MVP, anyone who makes these attacks in
his or her signature is not an MVP!

I find that most MVPs are polite and helpful and that most are quite
knowledgeable in their field. MVPs are like the rest of us, they are only
human, some are better than others, they don't know everything and they do
make mistakes, they're not perfect. Like the rest of us some MVPs can be a
bit testy and brash, they too sometimes have "bad hair days"! We all know
that for some of us every day is a bad hair day, it's human nature, some are
a bit more patient than others.

There are also many others who post here who are not MVPs but who are as
knowledgeable or more knowledgeable than the MVPs. I think that you will
also find there are a few useless trolls in these groups who constantly
harass and challenge some of the MVPs. These trolls almost never post
anything of value, all they do is prattle and post stupid advice, when
corrected these trolls immediately get very defensive and abusive, they make
stinging personal attacks on anyone disagrees with them or on anyone who
questions their dubious advice and corrects them. Nowhere in the rules of
conducts does it say that MVPs should be Usenet martyrs, nowheres does it
say that they should roll over and accept personal abuse from useless
trolls! Some MVPs gracefully carry on and say nothing but some of them have
stinging rebukes reserved just for these useless trolls and I must say that
in many cases I don't blame them for the stinging replies and I applaud them
for standing up to prattling trolls!

not including me, even use their real e-mail addresses in their

True. And many of those people go on to become MVPs. All MVPs got to
be MVPs because they already had a history of providing a considerable
amount of accurate helpful information.

I simply don't trust anyone who is unwilling to post over or under his full
name here in USENET -- not just a first name.

For women, I think the rules should be different. They can use just a first
name -- but it must be The Real One.

Of course, if women choose to use their full names that's fine too.

Anyone who doesn't follow those rules is not worthy of trust on anything.

Is that why you use a woman's name when you yourself choose to
post under a fake nym?

Yes, folks, David S. Hines has posted as "Julia294":

And just how would anyone know if the name is real or not?

What you're stating is that you won't trust anyone that doesn't use a
"full name" that LOOKS REAL, even though you have no idea if it's real
or not, which it's most likely to NOT be real.

Sort of makes you a idiot.

How do we know that you're D. Spencer Hines? For all we know, you're

I don't know, it's hard to beat Sarah. Can you imagine if she were
President? At least we know PCButts will never have that job.
