MVP Question

Trey Davis

Is it possible for me to become an MVP?

And how do I block messages from a particular user?

Is there a way to identify a user's IP address, and block this IP address so
that message doesn't show up in my Outlook Express?

I would have thought one of the first things a MVP would learn would be how
to post on topic, closely followed by don't cross-post unless absolutely
necessary.

Hi Trey,

Brendan has pointed you to the website for the Microsoft MVP program. To be
specific, it's not like a certification that you can study and take an exam
for, it's an award for community support, often by answering questions
although other forms of community support are taken into consideration.

To "killfile" a user in Outlook Express, highlight a message from that user
and then from the menu choose Message > Block Sender... To undo a blocked
sender use Tools > Message Rules > Blocked Senders List...

Nearly everything you want to know about OE is on OE MVP Tom Koch's website,
http://www.insideoe.com/ .
