Must click Unread Mail and then Inbox to see new message

I am unable to click on Inbox to see new messages that have come in. I have
to click on Unread Mail first and then if I click on Inbox the new mail will
be there. Can anyone tell me how to fix this. I am using Outlook 2007.

Do you have an Exchange server? What anti-virus software are you using?

No. I do not have Exchange. I am using Panda antivirus. I have recently
upgraded two computers and it is only doing this on one.

Mary, I don't see anything in the View settings that would filter where the
email is sent. It's just not visable if you are in another folder besides
Inbox and you get a notification that new mail has arrived, if you click on
Inbox it's not there. The only way to see it is if you click on another
folder first and then click the Inbox.

The Outlook Find feature and the new mail notifications do not work after
you apply Windows XP Service Pack 2:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
