musicmatch 8.1 and winxp

just upgraded from win me to xp. i used musicmatch 8.1
just fine and was able to download and play files. now
with xp, i'm able to login to musicmatch and can't
download. It confirms my download on list of recent
downloads and i'm being charged but when i log on, it
says i have pending downloads. after entering my
password error comes up immediately that my internet
connection has been lost and try again. it appears my
internet connection is fine, i could even play clips,
radio etx from musicmatch. Musicmatch has been unhelpful.
I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. Incidentally,
i've tried everything including reinstallation to no
avail. thanks

This is stickly a MusicMatch issue, only they can help.

Get the latest service pack for WinXP (You can than Microsoft
later...if they didn't release operating systems with tons o bugs...).
I use MMJB on WinXP and Win2000 without issue.
