When I try to search for music it returns web addresses not songs and when I
click the music tab I get a reply of "error contacting service try again
later". It has been since yesterday. Is there something wrong with windows
media player or my computer?

You are not the only one. I am having the same problem too. I would just like
to know what happened. Does anybody know?

Where are you searching for music?
Delete your on and off line temporary internet files and Cookies.
Then reboot and try again.
