I have a certain music file that I can't get to play in a power point
presentation. I have tried other files, and they work. Do you know why a
specific music file wouldn't work? They are all the same type of file (wmv).

Does it play OK in media viewer?

Is it a protected file?

Powerpoint uses the media player which you can open by START > RUN >
"mplay32.exe" in windows - see if it plays there.

What was the source oif the music file? It if's a downloaded from one of
the music stores you will NOT be able to use it in PPT. (Digital Rights

It was downloaded from a music store, but I've tried another song purchased
the same way, and it worked. Do you know how to fade out music?

It plays fine in media viewer. Do you know how to make a song fade out in PP?

You can't.
