music conundrum

Working in powerpoint 2003, I have encountered same problem with my original
music not being heard by recipients of ppshows. I tried creating folder on
desktop, putting pps and music file in that folder and copying and sending
folder. To no avail! Puzzle, puzzle. Any suggestions?

After you put the music in the same folder, you have to re-insert the music
into the PowerPoint. See this FAQ entry for more information:

The music is an mp3, Mr. Wilson. I did download CDex after reading of another
person's similar problem. However, when following the procedure to convert
the mp3 to wav. and maintain the same kb size as mp3, I got a message saying
"Extension file C:BackslashDocuments and
SettingsbsAdministratorbsDesktopbswibnbsMix does not match MPEG Layer Tag,
File conversion has been aborted.
