music and powerpoint

I cannot seem to get music files (WMA) to play in powerpoint 2003. Ok from
CD but if i come from the hard drive nothing. This wasn't the case in v97.

Did you "rip" the MP3s using Windows Media Player or buy them on line? If
so they almost certainly contain DRM (Digital Rights Management) and
PowerPoint can not use them.
