Multiselect List Box Problem HELP!!

Ok.. I have a multiselect list box on several forms. They all work
great. I can select one row or several with shift or ctrl. But
periodically I have a problem with the listboxes selecting multiple
rows when I have only clicked on one row. I have to exit my database
to get it to reset and then the listboxes work correctly again. I am
not sure how to fix this or what is causing it. HELP

I've had this issue as well. No clear symptomology to point to. Have you
tried requerying the boxes when it happens? Maybe shift F9? To me it was an
annoyance. I just started over selecting what I wanted, and it worked.

I'm not sure what's going on, but check the status bar at the bottom of the
Access window when this happens, to make sure you aren't in some odd mode.
For example, I've found myself confused when I accidentally pressed F8 and
got into extended mode, signaled by EXT in the status bar. I don't think
that particular mode is what's causing your problem, but there maye be some
mode or combination of modes that is doing it.

Well it happened again and the only thing listed was calculating. I
found that pressing Esc seemed to fix it. I will keep researching.

Have you tried a Compact & Repair? If not, try it and see if it picks up a
fault of some kind.

If that doesn't clear it up, the next thing to try is to create a new
database and import everything from your existing one, then run that copy.

If neither of the above solve the matter, at least you know corruption isn't
to blame here.
