Multiple users to edit the same site

I have an existing FrontPage Web Site, with several
subsites. Now, I need to allow another user to edit one of
the subsites. I'm a little confused. Do I setup a ftp
user/password or permissions. How do I allow a user to
edit a subsite and not give them access to the rest of the
site. And do they have to use FrontPage to publish?

All you need to do is give the user the server username and password (if you want
to risk this), but depending on the host I don't know if separate usernames and
passwords can be set up to access the same web server/web space - perhaps it can.

Not sure if you can restrict a person to one sub-web.

Yes, they will need Frontpage to edit and publish, if you use the server
extensions, otherwise they just need to use the FTP publish feature, or third
party product, and edit the pages you want them to and just tell them to "steer
clear" of the content you don't want them to mess with.

If your host permits the use of subwebs, then create a subweb with
permissions set for the other author. Then put all the stuff this person is
authorized to edit in that subweb.
They won't have access to the root or other subweb.
