Multiple users in Excel Spreadsheet when linked to Access as Table

I am having a problem with a Spreadsheet that I have linked to an Access
database as a table. Specifically, multiple users need to update through
Excel, while others need the functionality the Access delivers. The problem
surrounds the updating of data within access and seeing the change in Excel.

The Excel spreadsheet is "Shared" and the Excel user Saves to update the
changes in the spreadsheet, but an error is encountered when trying to Save.

If a change is made while the Access user has the bound form open and the
Excel user has the spreadsheet open, the change is visible in the respective
applications, but not updated in the spreadsheet.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
