I 've forwarded port 3389 on our router to point to our windows 2000 server.
I can term serve in to our server no problem. That works fine.
But now i need to term serve into another computer/workstation that controls
our heating and air conditioning. How do i do this since port 3389 is
already forwarded to the server. Do ineed to use a different port (and if
so, what is the format). I've forwarded port 3388 on our router to point to
the workstation that I need to control. But when i start a terminal session
with "ipaddress:3388" it dosen't connect. any help is appreciated

You could open a different port for every machine which you want to
connect to (and configure each machine to use that specific port in
stead of the standard port + configure your client to use the
specific port), but I would do this, since it is such a hassle.

Can't you open your primairy session to the Windows 2000 server,
and from there open a new session to the next machine?

If you want to use separate ports anyway, read this:
