Hi there,
I am bordering on beginner and intermediate user in Access. I have to
create a linked survey in Access. There are four parts, the Counsellor
login, Client details, Client Assessment and Outcome. I have decided to
use a tab control form and put each of the above on four different tabs. I
already made some forms for each of the above, and decided to copy and
paste from those forms onto the relevant tab. However I have noticed that
only the Counsellor details work and the other three tabs keep on giving me
the error "Control cant be edited; its bound to unknown field [...]' when i
try to enter data into the forms How do I link these forms fields to their
table fields? Help!!!!

A TabPage in and of itself does not allow you to have separate Data Sources.
For what you want you need to put a subform on each TabPage.

If all of these sections were writing to one common table then what you
attempted would work. If they are separate tables then you need to use
subforms.

Thanks I need someone to point me in the right direction. I have no clue
about subforms, but i will give that a go and learn how to use them!
