Multiple sections on one page, no page numbers

Hello, I have a Word 2000 doc that has three sections on one page, in order
to have two columns at the top, centered text and a graphic in the middle,
and columns at the bottom. The text in the middle has the proper styles
applied, but the correct page number (chapter-page) will not show up on the
TOC. Only the page number shows up, not the chapter.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Thanks, Jim.

Stefan, Thanks for the reply, but it did not specifically address my
problem. The Chapter-Page Number style page numbering appears on all pages.
But it will NOT appear in the TOC for sections that are in the middle of a
single page surrounded by two other sections. For instance on one page I
start with one column, then put in a continuous section break to go to two
columns (where my problem items are), then switch back to a single column at
the bottom of the page. The outline numbered items in the middle of the page
show up in the TOC with no chapter number. Can you help??

Thanks, Jim.
