multiple recordsets in ms access

i m tring to create multiple recordsets from ms access thru vb.ne
my string i
str="select name from jobs;select col2 from jobs
but it gves me erro
"Characters found after end of SQL statement
wat to d

Hi,

OleDb managed provider/Jet driver doesn't support multiple stataments.
 
so whats the way out if i want multiple queries in msacces
