Multiple Queries Needed?

Hello,

I have a database that has Type, Account, and transactions.

I need a report that sorts by Type, account, and then have multiple criteria
for the transactions based by dates, i.e. one for YTD, Prior YTD, Current
Month, etc.

I am new to Access, but very familiar with Excel. I have created queries
for each transaction date range, but I'm guessing that there is an easier way.

Please help,

With a question like this, I would expect to see table and field names. Can
you provide the significant names and some sample records with desired
display in your report?
