Multiple Operating Systems

I loaded Win XP Pro onto my PC. I was receiving errors so I rebuilt the system. When I started the system, I partitioned the hard drive: c: for the operatiing system and d: for storage. Somehow whe I reestablished the operating system, it was added to the d: drive. I have formated the d: drive but when I reboot, the system ask me which Windows XP I want to load. I know which one works but how do I remove the other that does not?

Hi,

Boot the system, start/run msconfig. Go to the boot.ini tab and click the
button to "check all boot paths". It should prompt to remove the invalid
one.
