Your video card will set how many monitors you can view.
alternatively if you are just wanting to hook up many
monitors with the same screen their are signal splitters
that allow multiple monitors to be hooked up at the same
time.
Google Is Your Friend(tm). Entering the search term "multiple monitors
Windows XP) returns about 166,000 links. The first one from Microsoft
will probably help you.
This really depends on how many video cards you can install in XP. Most AGP
cards can support 2 monitors (1 VGA, 1 DVI (or DVI to VGA adapter) and yo
could also install a few PCI video cards.
To help, all video cards should be using the same manufacturer for the video
chips. Do not mix ATI video cards with nVidia cards, since the drivers
could overlap each other.
