Multiple meeting requests and emails?

I have a user on WinXP Pro SP1 and Office 2003 SP1 who is recieving multiple
copies of a meeting request from another user which he has accepted. The
meeting request has been cancelled but he is still recieving them. (he's upto
200 now!)
Also reported today that he is getting more than one copy of all emails too!
Ive never seen this before so could do with some suggestions!

Has anyone any ideas for me to try?

Many Thanks
Mark...

Sorry, its Exchange 2003 mail...

Hmmmm....and only Exchange in this profile? Any errors in the event logs on
the server? Might want to post this in microsoft.public.exchange.clients.

Errm actually the guy has a Yahoo POP3 account in the same profile too...

I created a new profile for him yesterday which luckily copied all his rules
etc from the server.
Just waiting to see if he still gets the multiple mails...
Just as an aside he has a Pool@ address that he is also set to receive mail
from. I sent a test to this yesterday and he received a mail at the Pool
address AND at his name address. Is that normal?

Thanks for your help

Not sure what you mean. pool@ ? He has multiple email addresses defined in
his mailbox, or this is another mailbox on the server with delivery options
set to forward a copy to his main mailbox?

Hi again,

Thanks for the continuing help...

The company used to only have POP3 mailboxes hosted on a server elsewhere.
We have now set them up with an SMTP Exchange server, and the guy used to
access another mailbox called pool@company, so I have just given this as an
alternative SMTP address on his Active Directory account.
But any mail sent to the pool@ address he gets ok, BUT ALSO gets the same
message to his regular address. Is this right?

Thanks
Mark...
