Hi,

I have access to my personal mail box say ([email protected]) and
one generic mail box(say (e-mail address removed)). When i try to use mail
merge from word, the messages are sent from my personal mail box. Is
there any way to change this behaviour so that whenever I use the mail
merge utility from word, all the messages should be sent from the
generic mail ID?

can any one help me?

Thanks in advance.

Amarnath

yep - log on as the generic mailbox instead of as yourself.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

You would need to create a seperate profile for the other mailbox and log
into that profile when doing the mail merge. Mail merge will only send mail
as the default mailbox in the profile.

Amarath...Here's a workaround if you are already logged into a different
profile. You can change the default account to the one you want to use in
your Word merge email. (Tools | Email accounts | View or change... ). Set the
desired account as the default; siwtch to Word and you are good to go.

This is a temporary fix, however, and you do need to remember to change your
default account back to the main account you send from, but it works for a
quick fix.
