Multiple Line Form Field

I am a middle school teacher, that has been using word for many years now. I
am trying to create a form field for fill-in-the-blank questions and for
essay questions. I would like to have the fields display the data entry
fields, so that the lines for the questions are shown, exe multiple blanks
lines. I would like to do this so that text can wrap to the next lines
depending on the length of the answer. I have tried to use tables to do this,
with poor results. The reason I am trying to create the form with the lines
showing is, that I would like to create one form that can be filled in both
electronically and if need be hand-written. Any help anyone can give me would
be great.
