I saw a question similar to this posted, but I have a
different take. I have two separate email addresses and
I want to be able to keep the incoming mail from the
separate. I have set up two Email Accounts using Outlook
and I essentially would like to have separate inboxes for
each. Others on these forums have suggested creating
rules that move email from a single inbox to a second
inbox for the second account, but the problem is that
both accounts are on various mailing lists and as such
get duplicate emails. If I use rules to move my email
then what happens is one of the inboxes gets any emails
that are supposed to go to each and the other gets none
of those. Is there a way to distinguish which email
account a particular email was actually sent to (perhaps
in the mail headers somewhere) and use that?
The only other alternative I can see is to set up a
second profile, but I don't really want to do that since
I can't have outlook open for both profiles at the same
time.
