Multiple IF functions in one cell

I have columns A to Z in my spreadsheet that have been marked with an X in each cell according to certain information held. I want to produce a summary cell which looks at each of columns A to Z and say if column A has an X in it, then the summary cell says "A,", then if column B is blank and then column C has an X, then the summary cell would add "C," so that my summary cell ends up looking something like "A, C, F, G, V".

I have tried using the IF function but it only appears to be able to check one cell. Is there any way of doing multiple IF functions in one cell to add to a continuing result.
