Multiple Host Files

I am looking to have multiple host files on a XP workstation. I would like a
host file assigned to each different NIC. DNS is not possible, and I need to
resolve the same name to several different IP Address depending on which NIC
is being used.

I know this sounds weird, but I need the same name resolution to different
IP depending on the NIC being used, and DNS or name resolution not hosted on
the PC is not possible. It also has to be transparent to the end user.

I know I'm asking for the world, but any insight or info you have would be
greatly appreciated

Thanks for any help

How does your PC know which NIC it should use? Do you boot it
up with different NICs?

Not possible.
