Multiple Floppy Drives

I recently upgraded to WIN XP from 98 all ok but I am
getting two Standard Floppy Controllers. Each one is
causing a conflict with the other and neither will work.
I only have one floppy installed. Remove one and it works
fine until I reboot them hardware wizard adds a second
one.
 
Have you tried removing both and then rebooting? Do both still come back or
only one?
