Multiple Filter/Sorts in a Report via Query

In my database, I have a report requiring the user to enter in a sort
criteria of a persons name and the priority level of the case. The name sort
works but the priority level sort does not. This report was created using a
query. This entire database was created by another individual who is gone.
How do you get more then one sort/filter option to work?

Does the query work by itself without the report? If so then you'd have to
check grouping and sorting properties in the report. If the query doesn't
work Then we'd need to see the query to help. That is the best I can do with
the info given.

"sorting" generally refers to the order the records appear. I assume you
mean to filter or limit the records that appear.

Can you provide some information on how the filtering is applied? It might
help if we could see the SQL view of the report's record source.
