Multiple entries of data

I need to set up a form to enter data on batches of items received, then add
dates started as required. Is there some way of generating say five lines of
identical data, and leaving the date started field blank each time, without
having to type the line in five times?
 
PK, you can do a copy/paste function directly in the table to address this.
I'm not sure if you intend on doing this often or not, and need to have code
linked to a command button on your form.
