multiple email messages in inbox... help!

Hi,

We have a client who is running outlook 2003 via pop3. Sometimes, she
receives multiples of each email - up to 10 copies of each message...

other times, everything works fine.

the client DEFINITELY has "leave messages on server" option switched off -
that was the first thing that I checked.

Any suggestions? thanks!

Does her send/receive cycle end normally or with errors? Sometimes I've seen
issues where the cycle ends poorly and it doesn't mark the messages as
downloaded so it downloads them again & again, etc

or is the polling interval to short? ie less than 10 mins

Make sure she is NOT scanning incoming mail with an antivirus scanner.
