Hi
I'm a consultant that works at two companies with their own unique domains.
I want to be able to easily connect to the domain of whatever company I am
working at. Elseware, someone suggested I should set up two hardware
profiles, one for each company (which I have done). Howerver regardless of
which hw profile Windows I choseafter POST, the windows Login comes up for
the last domain I connected to.

Is there a way, I can have the Windows (domain) login to Company A show up
when select the hw profile for Company A and the converse for Company B's?
It would also help me when I'm working offline as my cashed credentials would
then send me into the right user profile for corresponding company (ie:
email, docs, etc. )

Notes:
* I'm running XP Pro. When I set up the hw profiles, I went with the
default portable computer state as "undocked" -- which is about the only
adjustment you can make.
* Obviously, I'm not trying to connnect to two discontiguous domains at the
same time but one at a time.
* I'd prefer not to have to go through the process of logging into the admin
account of the machine, attach it to the domain, every time I move between
companies...

Any ideas?

Thanks much,

In principle no, a machine can only be a member of one domain.

HST you can access most (non-administrative) domain-resources without being
a member. Whether this would be a suitable alternative depends on what you
need to do, of course.

http://mylogon.net might be of help, as it would allow you to run the
logon-script for a network without being a domain-member.
