multiple cmd windows with distinct properties

On my Windows 2000 system, I have 3 shortcuts for command windows -
small, large, and huge. Each one is a shortcut to cmd.exe, and each
has its own layout and color scheme. This was done by altering the
properties, and upon clicking ok, selecting the option that says
"Modify shortcut that started this window".

I can't seem to get this working on my new Windows XP 64-bit Edition
machine. After modifying a shortcut's properties and clicking ok, I
choose the similar option, "Save properties for future windows with
same title". However, even though I used different shortcuts and thus
have different window titles, setting any one changes all of them.

Is this feature gone?

Thanks

After experimenting for a while, I found a way to do this that works.

The original way, where I open the command window and then set the
properties from there (click the system menu, choose Properties),
doesn't seem to work like it does in Win2K.

However, if I create the shortcut and edit the properties directly, it
works ok (i.e. edit the properties on the shortcut without opening the
command window).

FYI...
