multiple audio files

I have been able to overlay a portion of two audio files,
but is there a way to have two or more audio files
playing at the exact same times?

No, you have to make multiple passes. Leave one of the audio files off, save
the movie, import it as a new single clip, add the second audio and resave.
 
Thanks! Any suggestions on audio editing software that will allow multiple
files to be manipulated at once?
