Multimedia audio controller

Jonathan

Hi all!
When trying to play sound, I get the message "no playback
device". I've moved my soundcard to another slot but now I
need to install a driver for "multimedia audio controller".
I'm not sure if this will work but at least it's worth a
try. My sound was perfect before and then just suddenly I
started having this problem. Any idea where to obtain this
driver or any other suggestions.

Thanx

Jonathan

Jonathan,

You need to pull that card out again and find out who
makes it and what the model is. You should then go to the
manufactures web page and look for support or a drivers
link. You could also try using Windows Update to see if
it detects that your sound card needs a driver. I'd try
Windows Update first so you don't have to pull the card
again. Hope this helps.
