multible user accounts

Hi,

I've just added an additional user on my notepad xp home pc, but i'm note
able to switch between the two accounts like i'm used to from my other pc's.
i'm only able to go to the other account if i log off the current user.

Help's much appreciated

This is probably because someone disabled user switching
on your laptop. It's in Control Panel / User Accounts / Change
the way users log on and off. Alternatively your laptop may be
configured for domain rather than local validation.
 
Hi Lindus,

As others have pointed out, you may need to enable FUS (Fast User
Switching). Be aware also that certain network protocols do not support FUS
and if they are installed (like netware), it may not function correctly or
at all.
