multi boot XP por and Vista

I have 2 HDD in my system. Drive 1 is XP Pro and Drive 2 is Vista. The only
way I was able to install vista was to unplug drive 1 from the motherboard
and setup 2 as the first drive. I would like to be able to multi-boot between
the two OS. How can I modify the Boot.ini to achieve this?

You should make the Vista boot drive your system drive. First in boot
priority and active partition. Download and install VistaBootPro and add an
entry for a legacy system. Copy your ntldr, ntdetect.com and boot.ini files
onto the Vista boot drive. Modify the boot.ini to point to the drive with XP
on it.

there shouldn't be any problem installing Vista to a second hard drive. My
system is set up that way. Windows XP Home is on partition 1 and XP Pro is
on partition 2 of drive 0, while Vista is on partition 1 of drive 1. I've
never experienced any problems with this scenario.
